Terms & Conditions of Service

(Design & Supply – Bespoke Furniture, Bedrooms & Interior Solutions)

1. Summary (Important – Read First)

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which LTE Studios provides bespoke design and supply services.

By paying a deposit, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

Key principles of this agreement:

  • All furniture supplied is bespoke and manufactured to order

  • Deposits secure design services and supplier commitment

  • Once manufacturing has been instructed, deposits are non-refundable

  • Designs and technical drawings remain the intellectual property of LTE Studios

  • All delivery timescales are indicative only

  • LTE Studios’ liability is strictly limited and capped

  • Furniture is supplied with manufacturer warranties, subject to supplier terms

This agreement is intended to set clear expectations and allocate risk appropriately for bespoke design-led projects.

 

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this agreement:

  • “Client” means the individual, partnership, company, or other legal entity commissioning Services from LTE Studios

  • “LTE Studios” / “We” / “Us” means LTE Studios trading as Lifestyle Through Evolution

  • “Services” means the design, specification, coordination, supply, and related professional services provided by LTE Studios

  • “Deposit” means the upfront payment required to commence Services and secure supplier commitment

  • “Approval” means the Client’s written confirmation to proceed, which may include email confirmation, signed documentation, or payment confirming instruction

 

3. Scope of Services

LTE Studios provides bespoke design-led services. Depending on the agreed project scope, Services may include:

  • Interior and furniture design

  • Technical drawings, layouts, and specifications

  • Furniture, bedroom, kitchen, and fitted joinery design and supply

  • Supplier coordination and procurement

  • Project coordination and site liaison

Services are delivered in clearly defined phases, typically including design development, technical detailing, approval, manufacture, and delivery.

Manufacturing will only be instructed following formal Approval from the Client.

LTE Studios may engage third-party contractors or suppliers either:

  • As an agent on behalf of the Client, or

  • As a principal, where expressly agreed

The contractual position for third parties will depend on the specific project arrangement and will be communicated to the Client.

 

4. Fees, Deposits & Payment

4.1 Deposit

The Deposit:

  • Is calculated as a percentage of the total order value

  • Is required to commence Services

  • Secures:

    • Design time and professional input

    • Supplier engagement

    • Reservation of manufacturing capacity

4.2 Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance is payable no later than 7 days prior to delivery

  • Failure to pay the balance may result in:

    • Suspension of Services

    • Delayed delivery

    • Cancellation of supplier orders where possible

LTE Studios accepts no liability for delays or costs arising from late payment.

4.3 Additional Charges

The Client acknowledges that additional charges may arise due to:

  • Design revisions requested after manufacture has been instructed

  • Changes to the scope beyond the agreed brief

  • Delays caused by third parties

  • Storage or re-delivery costs due to site unavailability

Such costs will be communicated and are payable by the Client.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring:

  • The site is ready, accessible, and safe

  • Structural integrity and load-bearing capacity are suitable

  • All necessary planning permissions and building control approvals are in place

  • Third-party trades not appointed by LTE Studios are properly coordinated

LTE Studios:

  • Undertakes its own technical measurements

  • Does not rely on client-provided measurements

  • Is not responsible for hidden site conditions or pre-existing defects

Failure by the Client to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional costs, or suspension of Services.

 

6. Design Revisions & Approval

  • Included design revisions vary by package and project scope and will be confirmed in writing

  • Approval may be given by:

    • Email confirmation

    • Signed drawings or documentation

    • Payment confirming instruction to proceed

Once manufacturing has been instructed:

  • Changes may not be possible

  • Any permitted changes may incur additional cost and revised timescales

  • LTE Studios is not responsible for supplier limitations once manufacture has commenced

 

7. Timescales & Delays

All timescales provided by LTE Studios are indicative only.

Delivery and installation timelines depend on:

  • Supplier manufacturing schedules

  • Logistics and transport availability

  • Site readiness and access

LTE Studios is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Supplier or manufacturing issues

  • Shipping or logistics delays

  • Client or third-party actions

  • Force majeure events, including supply chain disruption or labour shortages

 

8. Cancellations

8.1 Client Cancellation

  • Before supplier orders are placed:
    The Deposit will be refunded in full

  • After manufacture is instructed:
    The Deposit becomes non-refundable and the Client is liable for all costs incurred

  • Cancellation after Approval is not permitted except in exceptional circumstances

8.2 LTE Studios Termination

LTE Studios may terminate this agreement immediately where the Client:

  • Fails to make payment

  • Commits a material breach

  • Acts abusively or unreasonably

In such cases:

  • All fees earned remain payable

  • The Deposit is retained

  • All committed supplier costs are chargeable

  • LTE Studios may withhold designs, goods, or delivery until payment is settled

 

9. Liability & Limitations

LTE Studios is not responsible for:

  • Structural integrity or building performance

  • Compliance with Building Regulations

  • Manufacturing defects (supplier responsibility)

  • Errors by third parties unless caused by misinformation provided by LTE Studios

 

Liability Cap

LTE Studios’ total liability is capped at the total fees paid by the Client.

LTE Studios accepts no liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, or delay-related losses.

 

10. Guarantees & Warranties

10.1 Design Quality Guarantee

LTE Studios warrants that Services will be carried out with reasonable skill and care, consistent with industry standards.

10.2 Product & Manufacturer Warranties

All furniture supplied is covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the supplier’s own terms and conditions.

Manufacturer warranties:

  • Cover defects in materials and workmanship only

  • Exclude fair wear and tear, misuse, or installation by unauthorised parties

LTE Studios facilitates warranty information but does not underwrite supplier warranties unless agreed in writing.

10.3 Non-Guarantees

LTE Studios does not guarantee:

  • Property value uplift

  • Fitness for purposes beyond design intent

  • Exact colour, grain, or finish consistency

  • Supplier lead times

  • Future regulatory compliance

  • Third-party workmanship

10.4 Additional Guarantees

Any additional guarantees must be:

  • In writing

  • Signed

  • Explicitly stated to amend these Terms

 

11. Intellectual Property & Use of Designs

All designs, drawings, specifications, and concepts remain the intellectual property of LTE Studios, whether paid for or not.

The Client:

  • Is granted a limited licence to use designs solely for the agreed project

  • May not reuse, adapt, share, or issue designs to third parties or alternative suppliers without written consent

LTE Studios may use completed projects for portfolio, marketing, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.

 

12. Complaints Procedure

Any complaint must:

  • Be submitted in writing

  • Clearly outline the nature of the issue

  • Allow LTE Studios a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond

No legal action may be commenced until LTE Studios has been given the opportunity to resolve the complaint.

 

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The parties agree that:

  • The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction

  • No alternative forum shall apply unless agreed in writing

 

14. Online Acceptance, Consumer Rights & Severability

14.1 Online Acceptance

Payment of a deposit or use of LTE Studios’ website services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Electronic acceptance is treated as a legally binding agreement.

14.2 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights.
Cooling-off rights may not apply once bespoke manufacturing has commenced.

14.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
